Marcos OKs PH’s first nationwide digital connectivity master plan — DICT

President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. has signed the country’s first National Digital Connectivity Plan (NDCP), according to the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) on Monday, January 26.
In a statement, the DICT said the NDCP serves as a strategic, nationwide framework aimed at accelerating the rollout of critical broadband infrastructure and improving internet access across the country.
“President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr. has approved the National Digital Connectivity Plan (NDCP). This strategic framework is the first of its kind in the country, designed to accelerate the rollout of critical broadband infrastructure and lower internet costs for millions of Filipinos nationwide,” DICT said in a social media post.
