Bandbox Solo and Trio (JBL)

JBL is changing the way musicians practice and create with the introduction of the JBL BandBox, an AI-powered smart practice amp and portable speaker designed for both beginners and pros.
Available in two models—BandBox Solo and BandBox Trio—the new lineup integrates real-time AI vocal and instrument separation, the brand’s signature JBL sound, and a suite of built-in effects and tools that make music creation easier and more intuitive.
At the heart of BandBox is Stem AI, JBL’s intelligent vocal and instrument separation technology that lets users isolate or remove vocals, guitar, or drums from any song directly on the device. Whether it’s for learning a solo or jamming with friends, the BandBox turns any track into a customizable backing mix—putting musicians in control of how they play, rehearse, and perform.
Delivering JBL’s powerful, well-balanced sound, the BandBox is fine-tuned for instruments, vocals, and playback, ensuring crisp highs, strong mids, and deep lows that fill any space—from bedrooms to live jam sessions.
The BandBox Solo is built for individual musicians who want a compact yet complete creative setup. It includes one guitar or microphone input and allows players to stream songs, apply AI stem separation, and choose from vintage or modern amp models through the JBL ONE app. The app also unlocks classic effects such as chorus, phaser, and reverb, while built-in tools like a looper, tuner, and metronome make it a full-featured musician’s companion.
Meanwhile, the BandBox Trio is designed for groups and small gigs, featuring four instrument inputs and a built-in four-channel mixer for on-the-fly balancing and tone shaping. It also includes a replaceable battery pack, enhanced on-device controls, and the same AI and sound processing tools as the Solo.
“The JBL BandBox was engineered with one goal: to meet the exact needs of musicians and blend it with cutting-edge technology,” said Grace Koh, General Manager and Vice President of Consumer Audio, Harman Asia Pacific. “This groundbreaking tech can instantly isolate and remove vocals or instruments from any song, all without needing the internet or the cloud. This is a massive leap forward. It makes practicing, making progress, and jamming with friends or solo easier than you ever thought possible.”
The JBL BandBox Solo will be available this November for P16,499, while the BandBox Trio will follow soon for P4,999 via JBL.com.ph and authorized retailers.
