OpenAI has launched ChatGPT Go in the Philippines, introducing a more affordable subscription tier designed to make advanced artificial intelligence tools accessible to a wider range of users across the country.

ChatGPT Go allows users to access GPT-5, OpenAI’s most advanced model, with extended reasoning capabilities and higher usage limits than the free version.

The new plan also includes tools such as file uploads, image generation, and data analysis, features previously limited to ChatGPT Plus subscribers.

According to OpenAI’s official announcement, the Philippines is among the first countries in Southeast Asia where ChatGPT Go is available.

The move underscores OpenAI’s confidence in the country’s fast-growing digital economy and its active community of professionals, students, and freelancers who rely on AI for writing, research, and productivity.

ChatGPT Go also introduces flexible billing in local currency in select regions, making it easier for users in the Philippines to subscribe without requiring U.S.-based payment methods.

The plan can be canceled anytime and offers a higher message quota than the free tier, though it remains subject to system limits during peak usage periods.
