Apple has introduced its thinnest iPhone to date with the launch of the iPhone 17 Air, a device that prioritizes finesse without sacrificing performance.
Measuring just 5.6 millimeters thick and weighing only 165 grams, the Air sets a new design benchmark for the iPhone lineup.
Despite its ultra-slim profile, the iPhone Air features a 6.5-inch Super Retina XDR display with ProMotion technology, offering refresh rates of up to 120 Hz for smoother visuals.
Under the hood, it runs on Apple’s powerful A19 Pro chip, paired with the new N1 and C1x modems that enable next-generation connectivity, including Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6, and 5G support.
Battery efficiency has also been a focus. Even with its smaller size, Apple claims the Air can deliver up to 40 hours of video playback, thanks to optimized power management.
On the camera front, the iPhone Air sports a 48-megapixel rear camera and an 18-megapixel front Center Stage camera, making it a strong contender for photography and video calls alike.
It also includes MagSafe charging, Camera Control, and runs on iOS 26.
The device is built with a titanium-aluminum frame and Ceramic Shield 2 for durability, offering users a blend of style and toughness.
With the Air, Apple is positioning a handset that balances sleek design, essential features, and everyday usability—appealing to those who want cutting-edge tech in the slimmest form factor possible.
