PNP-ACG reports over 140 arrests, 171 cases filed in July 2025 anti-cybercrime drive

The Philippine National Police Anti-Cybercrime Group (PNP-ACG), on Monday, Aug. 4, has released its monthly accomplishments for July 2025, highlighting significant strides in its campaign against online criminal activity.

From July 1 to 31, the PNP-ACG reported a total of 171 cases filed, consisting of 87 regular filings and 84 inquest proceedings.

A total of 143 individuals were arrested, with 106 caught through entrapment operations and 37 identified as wanted persons.

The unit also rescued 18 victims of cyber-related crimes and reported eight convicted individuals during the same period.

Meanwhile, 126 cyber warrants were implemented, consisting of 119 warrants to disclose computer data, four warrants to examine computer data, and three warrants to search, seize, and examine computer data.

The report demonstrates the PNP-ACG’s continuing commitment to cybercrime enforcement and digital protection as it intensifies coordination with various stakeholders across the country.
