“In times like this, it’s critical that we help communities stay connected and feel supported,” said Yoly Crisanto, Globe’s Chief Sustainability and Corporate Communications Officer. “This is the heart of #AlagangGlobe — showing care through meaningful service when people need it the most.”

Emergency connectivity support

Globe Prepaid and TM subscribers in typhoon-hit areas will automatically receive free unlimited calls and texts to all networks, plus 100MB of data for general use and an additional 100MB for social apps such as Facebook and Viber — valid for one day.

Eligible Globe At Home Prepaid WiFi users will receive 5GB of free open data valid for three days. Meanwhile, GFiber Prepaid subscribers in affected areas will benefit from a three-day promo extension.

For Globe Postpaid and GFiber Postpaid customers, the company is implementing extended payment due dates to help ease financial stress during the recovery period.

Opportunities to Donate

Globe is also encouraging customers to take part in ongoing relief efforts. Subscribers can donate Globe Rewards points to the Ayala Foundation’s Hapag Movement via the GlobeOne app. GCash users may also send donations through the app’s “Donate” feature or by scanning the official QR code.

“Globe remains committed to supporting communities when it matters most. Every act of help, no matter how small, can make a big difference,” the company said.
