Marcos to watch F1 Singapore Grand Prix 2026 — DFA confirms

The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) has confirmed that President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. will watch the Formula 1 Singapore Grand Prix at the Marina Bay Street Circuit in Singapore.
The confirmation comes as Marcos prepares for a working visit to Singapore from Oct. 7 to 11 upon the invitation of Singapore Prime Minister and Minister for Finance Lawrence Wong.
The Singapore Grand Prix is staged at the Marina Bay Street Circuit and is among Formula 1βs prominent street races.
Meanwhile, the DFA said Marcosβ upcoming Singapore visit will seek to deepen cooperation between the Philippines and Singapore in emerging fields such as digital technology, artificial intelligence, smart infrastructure, the green economy, renewable energy, and healthcare.
The DFA also described the visit as timely as the Philippines prepares for the upcoming turnover of the ASEAN chairship to Singapore.
