PLDT announced on Sunday, October 4, that its network services have fully returned to normal nationwide following a submarine cable cut between the Philippines and Singapore on October 2.
In an advisory issued at 4:30 p.m., the telecommunications company confirmed that its services had normalized two days after the cable incident.
“Services have fully normalized nationwide following the submarine cable cut between the Philippines and Singapore on Oct. 2,” PLDT said.
The cable cut affected international connectivity, causing internet service interruptions and slower browsing speeds for some users.
