Lenovo has expanded its partnership with the Esports World Cup 2026, supplying gaming computers and monitors for the ongoing international esports competition in Paris, France.
The technology company joined the event as a global founding partner and will provide Lenovo Legion devices for competition arenas, player training facilities, broadcast studios, and festival areas.
The Esports World Cup 2026 runs from July 6 to Aug. 23 and is expected to bring together more than 2,000 players and 200 esports teams from over 100 countries.
Players will compete using Lenovo Legion Tower 7i and Tower 5i desktop computers, along with Legion gaming monitors.
“We are excited to welcome Lenovo as a Global Founding Partner for the Esports World Cup 2026, as we prepare to bring thousands of players and millions of fans to Paris this summer,” Esports Foundation Chief Commercial Officer Mohammed Al Nimer said.
“Across seven weeks, thousands of matches, broadcast hours, and player setups, the technology behind the competition matters just as much as what happens on stage,” he added.
Lenovo Vice President and Gaming Business General Manager Volker Düring said the partnership would allow professional players to compete using the company’s gaming devices.
“Lenovo’s partnership with EWC reflects a shared commitment to enable top esports athletes to use Legion’s premier gaming devices to compete at the highest levels on the largest esports stage,” Düring said.
Lenovo will also showcase its Legion Pro Rollable Concept at the event. The gaming laptop concept features a 16-inch Lenovo PureSight OLED display that can expand to 21.5 inches or 24 inches.
The concept was introduced during CES 2026 and was designed for esports players who need a portable device for training and competition.
Attendees will be able to try the device at Lenovo’s Legion booth.
Lenovo branding will also appear across event broadcasts, the Legion Gauntlet stage, and festival zones featuring laptops, tablets, and gaming peripherals.
The company said fans would have opportunities to win Legion devices through on-site activities.
The partnership builds on Lenovo’s participation in the Esports World Cup 2025, where more than 2,000 Legion devices were used for tournament operations, broadcasts, creator areas, and festival activities.
Organizers said this year’s competition covers 24 games and 25 tournaments, with players competing for a combined prize pool of more than $75 million.
