Radenta Technologies secures ISO 27001 certification

Radenta Technologies has received its first ISO/IEC 27001 certification, strengthening the company’s information security practices across its technology services.

ISO/IEC 27001 is an international standard for information security management systems. It provides organizations with a framework for establishing, implementing, maintaining, and continually improving controls designed to protect sensitive information.

The certification covers Radenta’s information security management for the delivery of customized information technology solutions involving cloud services, software development, project management, and systems integration.

Nereo Bolante, co-director of Radenta’s Ethics, Compliance, and Governance Team, said the certification reflects the company’s commitment to protecting client data.

“Achieving this certification strengthens Radenta’s competitive advantage, particularly in government, healthcare, financial services, and other regulated industries,” Bolante said.

“It also enhances our ability to manage security risks, improve operational resilience, and foster a strong security culture across the organization,” he added.

According to Radenta, the certification indicates that information security controls have been incorporated into its operations, policies, processes, and technology systems.

The company said the certification could provide clients with greater confidence that their information is being handled in accordance with internationally recognized security practices.

Radenta provides technology solutions to businesses and government agencies. It also operates the Radenta Academy in partnership with the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority.

The company has also been promoting AEGIS, an artificial intelligence-enabled disaster management platform developed by technology firm Vantiq, for possible adoption by local government units.

Bolante said Radenta will continue improving its information security program through risk management, employee training, regular audits, cybersecurity controls, supplier governance, and alignment with evolving industry standards.

“Achieving ISO/IEC 27001 is not the finish line—it challenges us to continuously improve,” he said.
