WiSAP, Digital Defence Alliance Singapore forge cross-border digital partnership

The Women in Security Alliance Philippines (WiSAP) and the Digital Defence Alliance Singapore (DDAS) have entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to strengthen regional collaboration in digital innovation, cybersecurity, and defense.
The agreement covers cross-border knowledge exchange on artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and digital defense, as well as exchange programs between the two countries.
This partnership will strengthen the role on youth in enhancing their knowledge and skills on the innovation spearheaded by highly progressive countries in the region.
It also includes provisions for co-organizing events and promoting each organization’s activities.
“This partnership underscores our shared commitment to advancing digital readiness, cybersecurity, and inclusivity in the tech sector across borders,” said WiSAP Chair and Chief Executive Mel Migriño. “Through collaboration with DDAS, we hope to strengthen the Philippines’ role in the global digital ecosystem.”
DDAS was represented by its Founder and President Judy Saw in the signing.
DDAS, a non-profit organization registered in Singapore, focuses on empowering youths, professionals, women, and leaders in the digital space through networking, knowledge sharing, and skills development.
It promotes digital readiness, transformation, security, and defense while forging partnerships with overseas associations to build global competencies.
WiSAP, meanwhile, is a non-profit organization in the Philippines focused on empowering women in cybersecurity through professional development, partnerships, and promoting diversity in the security industry.
