Converge ICT Solutions Inc. has successfully rerouted its internet and data traffic through alternative submarine cables following a subsea cable disruption between the Philippines and Singapore.
In a customer advisory dated October 2, 2026, Converge said it had redirected traffic to and from Singapore through other submarine cable systems to minimize the impact on its subscribers.
The company said its technical teams continue to monitor network performance to ensure stable connectivity, particularly when accessing applications and websites hosted in Singapore.
The disruption affected international data traffic between the Philippines and Singapore, prompting Converge to activate alternative routes to maintain internet services.
Converge advised subscribers who continue to experience connectivity issues to contact its official support accounts on Facebook or X (@ConvergeSupport).
The company has not provided a timeline for the full restoration of the affected submarine cable.
Converge’s advisory comes amid reports of international connectivity issues affecting Philippine internet users, highlighting the importance of alternative submarine cable routes in maintaining network reliability during disruptions.
