Bilyonaryo hit by significant DDoS attack as website access disrupted

Bilyonaryo.com is experiencing intermittent access after what the online news outlet described as a “significant” distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attack, the latest in a series of attempts to disrupt its website.

Bilyonaryo said its information technology team is responding to the attack and has deployed measures aimed at protecting the site and restoring stable access.

“Some readers may experience temporary delays or difficulty accessing Bilyonaryo.com while these measures are in place,” the company said in a service advisory.

Despite the attack, Bilyonaryo said it continues to publish stories and updates through its social media channels and its other platforms, Bilyonaryo News Channel at bnc.ph and Bankero at bankero.com.ph.

The news outlet said it is closely monitoring the situation and will issue further updates as necessary.

Bilyonaryo did not disclose who may be behind the attack or provide details on the previous attempts to disrupt its website.
