Lenovo has climbed 43 places to No. 153 on the 2026 Fortune Global 500, marking its highest position on the annual ranking of the world’s largest companies by revenue.

The company reported a record US$83 billion in revenue for its latest financial year, while adjusted net income increased by 42 percent year-on-year to US$2 billion. AI-related products and services generated 33 percent of Lenovo’s group revenue after doubling from the previous year.

Beyond the financial milestone, the growth reflects how artificial intelligence is becoming part of the technology people use for work, communication, entertainment, and other everyday tasks.

Lenovo has been pursuing what it calls a “Hybrid AI” strategy, which combines AI processing on personal devices with computing resources in private and public clouds. For users, this approach could mean accessing AI-powered features directly from PCs and other devices while allowing organizations to keep sensitive information within controlled systems.

Its portfolio covers consumer and business computers, smartphones, data centers, infrastructure, and enterprise solutions. The company’s rising AI revenue indicates growing demand among individuals and organizations for technology that can automate routine work, process information, and assist with decision-making.

Lenovo also put its technology to work as FIFA’s Official Technology Partner during the 2026 FIFA World Cup. The company provided AI-powered systems and other technology for the global sporting event, demonstrating how its products could support large-scale operations involving staff, venues, media, and millions of fans.
