The Philippine government has brought its flagship digital services platform closer to overseas Filipinos as the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) introduced the eGovPH App to overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) during a Serbisyo Caravan in Dubai.
Led by DICT Secretary Henry Aguda and Undersecretary for eGovernance Dave Almirol, the initiative highlighted how OFWs can access a wide range of Philippine government services online through a single digital portal—no matter where they are in the world.
In a post shared on the official eGov social media page, the agency underscored the app’s global reach for Filipinos abroad, stating:
“Abot-kamay ang serbisyo, saan man sa mundo. Ikinagagalak na ipakilala sa ating mga kababayang OFW ang mga serbisyo ng eGovPH app sa Serbisyo Caravan sa Dubai,” the eGovPH social media page said in a post.
(Services within reach, wherever you are in the world. We are pleased to introduce the services of the eGovPH app to our fellow overseas Filipino workers through the Serbisyo Caravan in Dubai.)
“Nasaan ka man sa mundo, abot mo ang online public services sa eGovPH App,” it added.
(Wherever you are in the world, online public services are within your reach through the eGovPH App.)
The eGovPH app is the Philippine government’s centralized digital gateway designed to simplify access to public services.
Through a single mobile application, users can transact with multiple government agencies—ranging from identity services and permits to benefits, records, and other essential transactions—without needing to visit physical offices.
For OFWs, the platform addresses long-standing challenges in accessing government services from overseas by enabling secure, remote, and paperless transactions.
The DICT has positioned eGovPH as a key pillar of the country’s digital transformation agenda, aimed at improving efficiency, transparency, and citizen experience in government services.
