Smart users report morning service outage across the Philippines

Users of Smart Communications reported outage to mobile services early Tuesday morning, November 4.

According to data from website Downdetector.ph, the outage began around 7:00 a.m., with most reports citing difficulty accessing mobile data, while others said they had no signal at all.

As of 7:28 a.m., Downdetector recorded at least 702 reports from affected users nationwide.

As of this writing, Smart Communications has yet to issue an official statement regarding the cause of the outage or when services will be fully restored.

In a statement, Smart said: “Some Smart subscribers may experience difficulty in voice and SMS services, as well as slow or no data connection.

“Our teams are working to restore full service as soon as possible.Thank you for your patience, and we apologize for the inconvenience,” it said.
