NCAA denies PlayTime partnership for Season 102
The National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) has denied entering into a partnership or agreement with PlayTime Entertainment for its Season 102, following claims linking the league to the company.
In an official statement, the NCAA Management Committee said it has not entered into any arrangement with PlayTime Entertainment as an “official entertainment partner,” “season presenter,” or in any similar capacity.
“For the avoidance of doubt, no agreement has been executed and no signing of any kind has taken place between the NCAA and PlayTime Entertainment,” the committee said.

The NCAA added that any statement or representation suggesting that PlayTime Entertainment had entered into such a partnership with the league was inaccurate and did not reflect any agreement authorized by the association.
The statement comes amid questions over PlayTime’s reported involvement with the collegiate league. Anti-gambling advocate Carlo Ople earlier raised concerns over an alleged partnership between the NCAA and PlayTime, questioning the association of a collegiate sports league with a brand linked to online gaming.

The NCAA, however, maintained that no formal partnership exists.
“The NCAA remains committed to ensuring that all official partnerships and engagements relating to the league are communicated accurately and through the appropriate channels,” the committee said.
