DITO Telecommunity has expanded the availability of its prepaid starter packs through a partnership with Lawson Philippines, making them accessible in more than 200 Lawson stores.
The collaboration allows customers to purchase DITO Starter Packs during regular visits to Lawson branches, providing another retail channel for Filipinos seeking prepaid mobile connectivity.
DITO said the partnership forms part of its efforts to bring its products and services closer to consumers and expand its retail presence.
“This partnership with Lawson Philippines brings together two challenger brands united by a shared commitment to innovation, customer value, and growth,” DITO Chief Commercial Officer Atty. Adel Tamano said.
“By combining our strengths, we aim to create more meaningful experiences for Filipino consumers while opening new opportunities that will benefit both organizations,” he added.
Tamano said the companies aim to provide consumers with greater choice, convenience, and value through the partnership.
Lawson Philippines Vice President Tsukasa Nakanishi said the collaboration would make mobile connectivity more accessible through the convenience store chain’s retail network.
“Both our organizations have grown by challenging the status quo and continuously finding better ways to serve our customers,” Nakanishi said.
“By bringing DITO Starter Packs to all Lawson stores, we are making reliable connectivity more accessible while delivering greater convenience and value to Filipinos,” he added.
The partnership was formally marked through a ceremonial signing attended by Tamano; DITO Deputy Chief Revenue Officer Miriam Choa; DITO Vice President for Strategic Channel Management Luisa Lansigan; Nakanishi; and Lawson Philippines Merchandising and Marketing General Manager Taiki Nishikawa.
Customers purchasing the starter packs may access DITO’s prepaid offers, data packages, and digital services.
DITO said the arrangement supports its continued expansion through additional retail channels, while Lawson seeks to offer more essential services to customers visiting its stores.
