BDO Unibank has made Send Money transactions via InstaPay and PESONet free on BDO Online and BDO Pay, adding to the growing list of banks removing digital transfer fees.

In an advisory on its website, BDO said customers can now send money through InstaPay and PESONet at zero fees using its digital platforms.

InstaPay transfers are credited in real time, while PESONet transactions made on or before 3 p.m. are processed within the day. Transactions made after the cut-off, on weekends, or holidays are processed on the next banking day.

The move comes as more Philippine banks and financial institutions adjust or remove transfer fees amid growing demand for lower-cost digital transactions.
