HONOR Philippines reportedly raffles off ₱15-million Tesla Cybertruck for HONOR X9d preorders

By TechWatch PH Staff

HONOR Philippines is drawing widespread attention online following reports that one preorder buyer of its upcoming HONOR X9d smartphone could take home a Tesla Cybertruck—an all-electric pickup truck estimated to be worth around ₱15 million in the Philippine market.

The alleged promotion continues a series of attention-grabbing campaigns by HONOR Philippines. Earlier this year, the company made headlines after raffling off a Rolex watch to buyers of the HONOR X9c during its launch.

For the release of the HONOR X9d, the brand appears to be pushing the spectacle even further. If confirmed, the Cybertruck giveaway would represent a major escalation in launch incentives, moving from luxury accessories to a full-scale electric vehicle.

The Tesla Cybertruck is known for its stainless-steel exterior, angular design, and all-electric drivetrain. While not officially sold in the Philippines, imported units have been listed at more than ₱12 million, with prices reportedly reaching as high as ₱15 million due to limited availability and strong demand.

HONOR has positioned the X9d as the most durable device in its X-series lineup, citing improved drop resistance and enhanced dust and water protection. The Cybertruck tie-in reinforces that messaging, linking the phone’s rugged build to a vehicle often associated with toughness and unconventional design.

Online reactions have ranged from disbelief to admiration, with users debating the legitimacy and scale of the promotion. Whether the strategy leads to long-term sales growth or primarily fuels short-term buzz, HONOR Philippines has once again succeeded in placing its latest smartphone launch under the tech spotlight.
