Kickstart Ventures doubles down on Eezee, backs AI-driven procurement expansion in Southeast Asia
Kickstart Ventures, a venture capital firm, has increased its investment in Eezee, a Southeast Asia–based procurement and supply chain platform, supporting the company’s regional expansion and further development of its AI-powered procurement tools.
Eezee raised a total of $5 million in its pre-Series B round, led by Korea Investment Partners with participation from Wavemaker Ventures. The fresh capital will be used to accelerate its footprint across Southeast Asia and deepen investments in its AI software products, RFQBot and ProcureFlow.
The Singapore-headquartered procurement platform, which focuses on enterprise tail-end spend, has officially launched operations in Thailand. It now operates in Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, the Philippines, and Thailand.
Eezee’s AI tools are designed to automate and optimize procurement workflows, particularly long-tail and low-value purchases that remain largely manual across many enterprises. The company said its platform can help reduce procurement time from days to minutes, enabling customers to save 20 percent or more on costs.
“Procurement and supply chain workflows have changed little over the past four decades,” said Logan Tan, CEO and co-founder of Eezee. “Recent advances in AI now make it possible to reimagine both the software layer and the physical movement of goods, combining automation with supply chain optimization to drive meaningful efficiency and cost outcomes. With this latest round, we’re seeing a more mature market, increased inbound demand and significantly less education required around Eezee’s offering.”
The funding comes amid tighter capital flows across Southeast Asia’s startup ecosystem, where declining funding volumes and heightened scrutiny around governance and fraud have reshaped investor appetite. Eezee said its round was oversubscribed, citing sustained investor demand.
“Eezee has consistently shown that it can drive strong revenue growth while maintaining disciplined unit economics, a combination that’s rare and powerful,” said Dan Siazon, managing partner and co-founder of Kickstart Ventures. “Our continued backing reflects our conviction that Eezee is building critical infrastructure for modern enterprises, and we’re confident in their ability to scale that impact even further across the region.”
Since the first quarter of 2025, Eezee said its growth has accelerated quarter by quarter, closing the year with 61 percent year-on-year growth. Its Indonesia and Malaysia units have reached operational profitability, while software revenue from RFQBot and ProcureFlow is projected to reach six-figure annual recurring revenue by year-end.
The company expects to achieve group-level profitability in the second half of the year as it continues expanding across Southeast Asia and scaling its AI product suite.
