HUAWEI Band 11 Series brings smartwatch features to entry-level price tier, launches March 3

Huawei is positioning its latest wearable lineup as a bridge between smart bands and full-fledged smartwatches, with the HUAWEI Band 11 and HUAWEI Band 11 Pro set to launch in the Philippines on March 3.

Marketed as delivering “smartwatch-level features at a band price point,” the HUAWEI Band 11 Series focuses on ultra-light design, extended battery life, independent GPS on the Pro model, and expanded wellness tracking features — all in a slim form factor designed for all-day wear.

Slim profile, brighter display

Huawei claims the Band 11 Series is among the thinnest in its segment, with an 8.99 mm profile and a weight starting at 16 grams. Despite its compact build, the device carries a 1.62-inch AMOLED display that is 27% larger than its predecessor, according to the company.

The screen supports up to 2,000 nits of brightness, aimed at improving outdoor visibility. Huawei also highlights an updated user interface and enhanced widgets for easier access to workout data, heart rate trends, and sleep summaries.

Straps are described as skin-friendly and sweat-resistant, with quick-release options for easier customization.

Phone-free tracking, expanded sports modes

The HUAWEI Band 11 Series supports over 100 sports modes and includes GPS tracking for outdoor activities. The Pro variant features independent GNSS via a built-in antenna, allowing users to track routes, pace, and distance without carrying a smartphone.

Huawei says the Pro model also introduces Track Run Mode for stadium workouts, with lane selection and GPS drift correction, along with wrist-based running posture analysis that measures metrics such as ground contact time and vertical oscillation.

An AI Running Plan feature provides performance predictions and training insights, while auto-detect and auto-pause functions aim to improve workout data accuracy.

Deeper sleep and heart monitoring

On the wellness front, the Band 11 Series adds upgraded sleep tracking tools, including wrist-based sleep breathing awareness, sleep stage visualization through Gantt charts, and nap summaries.

The device also supports all-day heart rate variability (HRV) monitoring and CE-certified pulse wave arrhythmia analysis. These features are designed to provide users with broader insights into stress and cardiovascular health trends over time.

Emotional Wellbeing 2.0 categorizes stress and mood into 12 emotional states, while women’s health tracking includes a monthly calendar view for cycle monitoring.

Up to 14 days battery, mobile payments support

Huawei says the Band 11 Series can last up to 14 days on a single charge, powered by what it describes as new high-silicon battery technology. Fast charging is also supported.

For daily productivity, the wearable enables smart notifications, quick replies, and remote camera controls. It also integrates GCash Watch Pay for QR-based payments in supported areas, allowing transactions directly from the wrist.

The HUAWEI Band 11 and Band 11 Pro will be available via the Huawei Online Store, Shopee, Lazada, TikTok Shop, and Huawei Experience Stores nationwide starting March 3. Pricing details are expected to be announced closer to release.
