Streaming Platform Crunchyroll Announces Sekiro Anime Adaptation Titled Sekiro: No Defeat
The instant classic game Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice will be retold in anime format in 2026 by Kadokawa, Crunchyroll, Qzil.la, and ARCH in a new project titled Sekiro: No Defeat!
Set in Sengoku-era Japan, the series is a a tale of loyalty and blood and will be fully hand-drawn by Kadokawa and will be available on Crunchyroll excluding Japan, China, Korea, Russia, and Belarus.
The creative team behind the anime adaptation includes director Kenichi Kutsuna, screenwriter Takuya Satou, Yuji Kaneko on art direction, Shuta Hasunuma on musical score and Keisuke Nozawa on cinematography. The cast includes Daisuke Namikawa as Wolf, Miyuki Satou as Kuro / The Divine Heir and Kenjiro Tsuda as Genichiro Ashina
