TCL has retained its position as the top Panel TV brand globally, according to the latest Annual Cumulative Market Share Data for Panel TVs released by TRS Research.

The ranking reflects TCL’s continued lead in both value and volume sales.

As it marks its 25th year in business, TCL also ranked first in the QLED television segment based on the same data, confirming its performance across both standard and premium TV categories.

In a separate report, market research firm Omdia listed TCL as the global leader in shipments for three categories in 2024: 85-inch and larger TVs (22.1 percent market share), Mini LED TVs (28.8 percent market share), and Google TVs—a position the brand has held from 2021 to 2024.

“TCL has truly become a trailblazer, driven by an unwavering commitment to innovation, pushing beyond limits to develop cutting-edge, sustainable technologies. We believe this relentless pursuit of progress is what continues to elevate TCL’s brand value. With this recognition, we extend our deepest gratitude to everyone who has helped us achieve this remarkable milestone,” enthused by TCL Philippines’ visionary CEO Peter Chen.

TCL also announced a global partnership with the International Olympic Committee, which will run through 2032.

Under the agreement, TCL will supply technology for the Olympic and Paralympic Games, including digital displays and home appliances for the Olympic Village.

The company will also work with the IOC on campaigns to engage global audiences and support initiatives such as “Athletes Moments,” which allows athletes to communicate with their families after competitions.

“Through this partnership, TCL’s innovations will ignite inspiration in billions, delivering exceptional experiences and contributing to a sustainable future all over the globe. TCL is committed to fulfilling its corporate social responsibility and fostering a better world,” Chen said.

TCL plans to expand its range of large-screen TVs, especially in the Mini LED category, and will continue to integrate features from its partnership with Google to improve user access and content delivery.
