Globe Telecom recorded ₱11 billion in corporate data revenues in the first half of 2026, a 15-percent increase from the same period last year, driven by growing demand for enterprise connectivity and digital services. The telecommunications company said the growth reflects businesses’ increasing reliance on internet connectivity, data networks, and digital solutions to support daily operations, customer transactions, and digital workflows. Globe's consolidated service revenues reached a record ₱85.4 billion during the six-month period, up 6 percent year-on-year, while earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA) rose 6 percent to ₱44.5 billion. Mobile data remained the company's largest revenue contributor, generating ₱53.9 billion, a 10-percent increase from the previous year. Home broadband revenues also climbed 6 percent to ₱12.4 billion. To support growing connectivity demand, Globe allocated ₱26.3 billion in capital expenditures during the first half, representing a 39-percent increase year-on-year. Approximately 91 percent of the spending went toward data and digital infrastructure, including network capacity expansion and service quality improvements. Despite the higher investments, Globe said it remains on track to keep its full-year capital expenditures below US$1 billion as it balances network modernization with profitability and financial flexibility. Meanwhile, the company's core net income reached ₱10.2 billion in the first half, with second-quarter core net income rising 7 percent quarter-on-quarter to ₱5.3 billion. Globe said continued enterprise demand and investments in digital infrastructure remain important to its growth strategy as more businesses adopt connectivity and digital solutions.
