Filipinos looking for additional income and career opportunities can explore artificial intelligence (AI), freelancing, and digital entrepreneurship as technology continues to reshape the way people work.
This was among the key messages of the Future of Agencies Summit Cebu 2026, held on Oct. 2 and 3 at bai Hotel Cebu, which gathered 120 participants from eight countries to discuss emerging opportunities in the digital economy.
FHNetwork Co-Founder MK Bertulfo highlighted how online platforms and digital skills could open income opportunities for more Filipinos, including those interested in freelancing and starting their own businesses.
“Lahat pwedeng magkaroon ng opportunity, lahat pwedeng kumita online,” Bertulfo said.
Organized by AdSummits.org Founder Ashish Dasharathi, with Bertulfo as local organizing partner, the summit brought together entrepreneurs, agency leaders, and digital professionals from the Philippines, India, Australia, the United States, France, China, Singapore, and Poland.
Discussions focused on AI, automation, search engine optimization (SEO), and large language models (LLMs), including how these technologies can help businesses improve operations and create new sources of income.
Dasharathi said leading agencies worldwide have already developed new revenue streams using LLMs, allowing them to expand their customer base while reducing operational costs.
Meanwhile, Faith AI Founder Faith Natividad addressed concerns about AI replacing workers, emphasizing the importance of learning new skills and adapting to changes in the workplace.
Mojo Links Founder Bart Magera also encouraged businesses to use AI to support human thinking rather than rely on the technology excessively.
The summit also featured discussions on digital marketing, AI consulting, business operations, and strategies for building sustainable digital agencies.
