GAC launches GN6, E8 HEV, GN8 PHEV Executive in PH

GAC Philippines has introduced three new multi-purpose vehicles in the country, expanding its local lineup with the All-New GAC GN6, GAC E8 HEV, and GAC GN8 PHEV Executive.

The three models form what the company calls the GAC MPV Family, designed to serve different mobility needs ranging from daily family travel to premium passenger transport and executive use.

“The official launch of the GAC MPV Family marks an important milestone in the continued growth of GAC Philippines,” GAC Philippines General Manager Calvin Cheng said.

“With three distinct models, we are bringing Filipino customers a complete MPV lineup that can serve their changing needs, from flexible daily transit to premium travel and executive mobility,” he added.

All-New GAC GN6

Positioned as the entry model in the lineup, the seven-seat GN6 is powered by a 1.5-liter turbocharged gasoline engine paired with a seven-speed wet dual-clutch transmission.

The engine produces 176.7 PS and 270 Newton-meters of torque. The vehicle has a 2,810-millimeter wheelbase and measures 4,792 mm long, 1,837 mm wide, and 1,750 mm tall.

With all seats in use, the GN6 offers 324 liters of luggage capacity. Folding the third-row seats into the floor expands cargo space to as much as 1,100 liters.

Its cabin includes a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, a 14.6-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and dual-zone automatic climate control.

Safety equipment includes six airbags, electronic stability control, a 360-degree camera, Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Keeping Assist, and Automatic Emergency Braking.

GAC E8 HEV

The E8 HEV combines a 2.0-liter hybrid-dedicated engine with an electric motor. The gasoline engine produces 140 PS and 180 Nm, while the motor generates 182 PS and 300 Nm.

GAC said the hybrid MPV can travel more than 1,000 kilometers on a full 60-liter fuel tank. It has a fuel consumption rating of 5.58 liters per 100 kilometers under the Worldwide Harmonized Light Vehicles Test Cycle.

The E8 HEV supports up to 18 seating configurations. Its second-row Zero Gravity seats feature power leg rests, ventilation, and massage functions.

The third-row seats can fold into the floor, increasing cargo capacity from 345 liters to as much as 1,917 liters.

Other features include dual sunroofs, power-sliding doors, wireless charging, a 14.6-inch touchscreen, and an eight-speaker audio system.

GAC GN8 PHEV Executive

At the top of the lineup is the seven-seat GN8 PHEV Executive, which GAC designed for executive transport, premium family travel, and chauffeured mobility.

The vehicle combines a 2.0-liter turbocharged Miller-cycle engine with an electric motor, producing a combined 373 horsepower and 630 Nm of torque.

Its 25.5-kilowatt-hour lithium iron phosphate battery provides an electric driving range of up to 120 kilometers based on New European Driving Cycle testing. The total combined driving range is rated at up to 1,038 kilometers.

DC fast charging can bring the battery from 30 percent to 80 percent in around 45 minutes.

Inside, the GN8 PHEV Executive features second-row captain’s seats with power leg rests, heating, ventilation, massage functions, position memory, and fold-out tray tables.

The cabin also includes a 16-speaker audio system, tri-zone climate control, PM2.5 air filtration, a fragrance system, a panoramic roof, and dual power-sliding doors.

Pricing and availability

The All-New GAC GN6 has a suggested retail price of ₱1.298 million and a special launch price of ₱1.198 million.

The GAC E8 HEV GL is priced at ₱1.858 million, with an introductory price of ₱1.778 million. The GX variant costs ₱1.998 million, with a launch price of ₱1.918 million.

The GAC GN8 PHEV Executive has a suggested retail price of ₱3.488 million and an introductory price of ₱3.338 million.

Reservations are now open at GAC dealerships nationwide. The introductory prices are available for reservations made until Aug. 31, 2026.
