Globe trains employees to use AI for productivity, innovation

Globe is expanding artificial intelligence training and tools across its workforce as the telecommunications company seeks to improve productivity, operations, and customer service.

More than 80 percent of Globe employees now have access to AI-powered productivity tools, while over 2,500 workers have completed AI learning programs, the company said.

These initiatives have led employees to develop more than 30 AI-powered tools and automated systems for procurement, quality assurance, customer engagement, data analytics, and network operations.

Globe said 84 percent of employees who participated in its AI initiatives reported increased productivity, with workers saving an average of three to four hours each week through AI-assisted workflows.

“At Globe, we see AI as an enabler of human potential,” Globe Chief Human Resource Officer Renato “Ato” Jiao said.

“Our goal is not simply to adopt new technologies, but to equip our people with the tools, skills, and confidence to thrive in an AI-enabled workplace,” he added.

The company has integrated AI into its learning, employee development, and human resources services.

Employees have access to a virtual assistant for HR-related concerns and an AI-enabled platform that provides information on company policies, benefits, and workplace resources.

Globe also provides structured AI learning programs and secure productivity tools to help teams automate routine processes and focus on tasks requiring creativity, critical thinking, and human judgment.

The company said its employee-developed AI solutions have generated measurable improvements across several operations.

An AI-powered procurement chatbot now handles around 1,500 inquiries each month, while intelligent network monitoring has reached 90 percent fault-detection accuracy and reduced service restoration time by 70 percent.

Globe said AI-powered quality audits have also reduced costs and manual work, while personalization tools have helped improve customer engagement and revenue.

The company maintained that AI should complement human expertise rather than replace it, emphasizing the need for continuous learning and responsible use of emerging technologies.

The World Economic Forum’s Future of Jobs Report 2025 found that 86 percent of employers expect AI and information-processing technologies to transform their businesses by 2030. It also found that 77 percent of employers plan to upskill or reskill workers to help them work alongside AI.

Globe said it will continue investing in workforce development as it builds what it described as a more resilient and future-ready organization.
