Hyperscaler demand lifts PLDT Global Q1 revenue by 26%

PLDT Global Corporation, the international business unit of PLDT, reported a strong start to 2026 as its first-quarter net service revenues rose by 26 percent year-on-year, driven mainly by higher demand from hyperscalers and global enterprise customers.
The company said its performance reflected continued growth in its enterprise business, supported by demand for high-capacity connectivity, strategic partnerships with global digital platforms, and the continued resilience of its carrier voice operations.
PLDT Global said enterprise growth in the first quarter was led by its hyperscaler segment, as global technology companies continued to scale operations across Asia and other key markets.
The company recorded sustained demand for its International Private Leased Circuit Services and colocation solutions, which support businesses that require scalable, secure, and reliable connectivity.
PLDT Global also secured new strategic contracts from hyperscalers, content providers, and global enterprises. These agreements are expected to contribute to revenues within 2026, providing additional growth opportunities for the company.

The company also said the decline in its carrier voice business eased to negative eight percent year-on-year, reflecting cost discipline and continued optimization of operations.
