LG Electronics (LG) highlighted its artificial intelligence-driven heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) technologies and regional growth strategy during LG HVAC CONNECT ASIA 2026, bringing together more than 70 strategic partners from 15 countries in Seoul, South Korea.

Held from April 13 to 16, the event served as a platform for the company to present its HVAC roadmap for Asia, featuring market-specific solutions, product demonstrations and business discussions designed to strengthen collaboration with partners across the region.

A key highlight of the exhibition was the Multi V 5 Pro2 system air conditioner outdoor unit, which integrates AI-based controls to help optimize cooling performance and energy consumption. According to LG, its AI Smart Care and AI Energy Management features automatically adjust operations using real-time data and can deliver energy savings of up to approximately 60 percent, depending on operating conditions.

LG also showcased regional deployment examples, including the use of its BECON building energy management platform in franchise stores in the Philippines. The system enables centralized monitoring and control of energy systems across multiple locations, allowing businesses to improve operational efficiency.

In Thailand, the company presented a mid-static ducted air conditioning solution equipped with IoT modules and oil-mist filters designed to help manage cooking vapor in restaurant environments.

Looking ahead, LG outlined its vision for intelligent HVAC technologies centered on Multi V i, its AI-based Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) solution. The company also exhibited AI-enabled consumer products such as the DUALCOOL and ARTCOOL residential air conditioners, the WallFit air purifier and cooling solutions designed for data centers.

Beyond conference sessions and product exhibits, the event included business meetings focused on both short-term opportunities and long-term projects, giving partners a closer look at potential collaborations. Participants also visited LG’s chiller factory in Pyeongtaek, Gyeonggi-do, and the company’s D5 flagship store in Gangnam, Seoul, to observe manufacturing processes and experience its technologies in real-world settings.

“LG HVAC CONNECT ASIA 2026 gives our partners an opportunity to better understand our technologies and see how they can be applied in their own business settings,” said James Lee, president of the LG ES Company. “Our goal is to continue building on our collaboration so we can create a stronger path to success together, helping our partners grow through solutions based on real operational needs.”

The event forms part of LG’s broader effort to expand its HVAC business in Asia by combining AI-driven energy management, regional customization and industry-specific applications to address the evolving needs of commercial and residential customers.
