HONOR drew significant attention at Mobile World Congress 2026 after unveiling a series of AI-powered devices and concepts, including its experimental Robot Phone and the latest Magic V6 foldable, earning more than 70 recognitions from global technology media outlets.

The company used the annual Barcelona technology gathering to present its vision of Augmented Human Intelligence, alongside new devices that expand its growing AI-driven device ecosystem.

Among the most talked-about concepts was the Robot Phone, which explores the idea of embodied artificial intelligence—where hardware can move, react, and interact more dynamically with users. The device combines AI-driven interaction with robotic motion capabilities and advanced imaging, positioning it as an experimental glimpse into how future mobile devices may function beyond traditional smartphones.

Several international media organizations highlighted the concept device as one of the event’s most notable showcases. Technology publication Engadget remarked that HONOR had made the Robot Phone “highly mobile, to the point of creating a tiny personal robot that is, dare I say, adorable?” Meanwhile, GadgetMatch described it as “an early preview of how future mobile technology might move, react, and interact more like a living companion rather than a static tool.”

HONOR’s foldable flagship, the Magic V6, also received widespread recognition during the event. The device was highlighted for combining silicon-carbon battery technology, advanced display engineering, and artificial intelligence features designed to enhance productivity.

Several technology outlets pointed to the device’s ultra-thin form factor and durability improvements. Reviews noted its water and dust resistance rating and the integration of the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 platform, positioning the device as one of the latest developments in foldable smartphone design.

The company also received recognition during the Global Mobile Awards at MWC for its silicon-carbon battery technology, which enables higher energy density while maintaining a thin device profile. HONOR said the battery used in the Magic V6 incorporates up to 25 percent silicon content, allowing increased power capacity within compact designs.

HONOR also previewed its next-generation Silicon-carbon Blade Battery, which features 32 percent silicon content and an energy density of 985 watt-hours per liter, reflecting continued development in battery technology for thin mobile devices.

Beyond smartphones, HONOR expanded its device lineup with new products designed to support its AI ecosystem strategy. The MagicPad 4 tablet and MagicBook Pro 14 laptop were introduced as productivity-focused devices aimed at integrating artificial intelligence into everyday computing tasks.

The announcements highlight HONOR’s broader push toward a connected ecosystem of AI-enabled devices, as manufacturers increasingly explore how artificial intelligence can shape the next generation of personal computing and mobile technology.
