ePLDT, the ICT arm of PLDT, has joined forces with Dell Technologies and Katonic AI to launch Pilipinas AI, the country’s first sovereign AI solutions stack, designed to fast-track enterprise adoption of artificial intelligence while strengthening national digital sovereignty.

The initiative builds on ePLDT’s earlier launch of GPU-as-a-Service, which gave businesses access to NVIDIA-powered high-performance computing.

With Pilipinas AI, that capability now evolves into a full-stack platform that combines GPU management with an AI orchestration layer, developed in partnership with Dell Technologies and Katonic AI.

“By working with trusted, world-class tech partners, we are putting the right foundation in place for Philippine enterprises to embrace AI with confidence,” said Victor S. Genuino, President & CEO of ePLDT and VITRO Inc. “Pilipinas AI gives them access to computing power and advanced tools that help accelerate adoption, streamline operations, and drive innovation at scale.”

Local foundation, global impact

What sets Pilipinas AI apart is its local hosting at VITRO Sta. Rosa, the country’s first AI-ready hyperscale data center.

This ensures data sovereignty by keeping workloads within Philippine borders, reducing latency, and enhancing security — all while aligning with data privacy regulations.

By removing the heavy cost and complexity of building AI infrastructure, Pilipinas AI enables organizations to focus on innovation.

Enterprises and government agencies can harness AI for fraud detection, weather forecasting, customer service enhancements, and even medical diagnostics — tangible applications that promise to transform industries and improve lives.

“AI adoption is no longer a question of if, but when,” Genuino added. “With Pilipinas AI, we are making sure that when Philippine enterprises take that leap, they do so on solid ground — supported by secure infrastructure, trusted partners, and a vision for sustainable digital progress.”
