Influencers unite to launch ‘Creators Against Corruption’ to demand gov’t accountability
Coalition aims to amplify calls for government accountability through digital platforms

A coalition of Filipino influencers and content creators has formally launched Creators Against Corruption (CAC), a movement urging transparency and accountability in government amid mounting public anger over alleged “ghost” flood control projects and corruption scandals within the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH).
The group, introduced at an event in Kapitolyo, Pasig, brings together creators from diverse niches — from gamers and lifestyle vloggers to financial literacy educators, tech reviewers, card collectors, and even horror storytellers. Despite their varied audiences, the creators share a common goal: to mobilize the digital community in demanding a corruption-free Philippines.
Lead convenor Carlo Ople said the group’s mission is to “empower and equip anti-corruption creators,” emphasizing that their “combined voices will be stronger and safer for everyone.” Ople stressed the urgency of their cause, adding, “Now is not the time to be fence-sitting or on the sidelines. We are called to be part of this battle against the raging corruption happening in the Philippines today.”
CAC members plan to leverage their wide-reaching platforms to raise awareness, share verified information, and pressure public officials for reform.
The group also pledged to release educational content, host online discussions, and collaborate with civic organizations to sustain momentum in the fight against corruption.
The CAC manifesto was signed by 20 creators, including Ople, Chris Tan, Marc Santos Gamboa, Julia Pineda, Gabriel Pineda, LJ Reyes, Julio Ingco III, Sai Montes, Joseph Teoxon, Rocky Turen, Rollie Garcia, R. Ty, Migo Delfin, Chef Martin Narisma, Gian Gaite, Jigs de Asis, Sean Salustiano, Rye Icatar, AJ Badiola, and Spart (We the Future).
