Google has introduced new subscription options for its Gemini Apps, giving personal account holders more flexibility depending on their needs.

These new plans are available through select Google One paid subscriptions in more than 150 countries and territories.

The Gemini app now comes in three tiers: Free, Google AI Pro, and Google AI Ultra. Each tier offers different usage limits and features.

For example, users without a plan can submit up to five prompts per day.

This increases to 100 prompts per day with the Google AI Pro plan, and up to 500 prompts per day with Google AI Ultra. The Gemini 2.5 Flash model, on the other hand, remains widely available across plans.

Context window capacity also varies significantly, with free users limited to 32,000 tokens, while Ultra subscribers enjoy access to as much as one million tokens.

Features such as audio overviews and deep research are tied to plan type. Pro and Ultra users can generate up to 20 audio overviews per day.

For deep research, free users can generate up to five reports per month using Gemini 2.5 Flash, Pro users can create up to 20 reports per day using Gemini 2.5 Pro, while Ultra subscribers can go as high as 200 reports per day with the same model.

Some advanced tools are exclusive to Google AI Ultra. The Deep Think feature allows up to 10 prompts per day with a 192,000-token context window.

Ultra users can also schedule up to 10 active actions at once, and generate as many as 1,000 images per day, compared to the 100-image limit for free users.

Video generation is available in preview form, with Pro users able to produce up to three videos per day using Veo 3 Fast, while Ultra users can generate up to five videos per day using Veo 3.

In terms of early access, Pro subscribers are given a first look at select features, while Ultra subscribers are prioritized for the newest and most advanced releases.

Despite these differences, certain tools like Canvas and Gems remain accessible to most users regardless of subscription. All plans are limited to users aged 18 and above.

Based on the app, pricing begins with a free one-month trial. After this, the Google AI Pro plan costs ₱1,100 per month. The Google AI Ultra plan is set at ₱6,900 per month for the first three months and ₱13,900 per month thereafter.

Through these new tiers, Google aims to position Gemini as a platform that caters both to casual users and to professionals who require advanced AI for research, productivity, and creative work.
