Gogolook inks agreement with WiSAP for a joint online, in-person anti-scam campaign

The world’s top TrustTech company, Gogolook, recently signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOU) with the Women in Security Alliance Philippines (WiSAP), an inclusive group supporting cybersecurity professionals and youth.

Mel Migriño, Gogolook Philippines Country Head, mentioned that the joint Anti-Scam Campaign will be carried out through online and in-person events, webinars, and school activities, focusing on topics like scams and fraud.

“Gogolook will provide marketing materials to WiSAP to promote the Whoscall Premium version to WiSAP members and partners,” she said.

“WiSAP, on the other hand, will provide technical content on cybersecurity and digital safety in classroom teachings, with Whoscall highlighted as the primary protection tool for building a digitally safe ecosystem,” added Migriño, who also serves as the president and chair of WiSAP.

WiSAP Board of Trustee member and Treasurer Portia Alfonso, meanwhile thanked Whoscall for having the similar objective, we will support Whoscall in building its News Wall in the Philippines, delivering scams and fraud updates to its users” Alfonso said.

Furthermore, part of the agreement is to provide youth and professional ambassadors to Whoscall through its WiSAP and WiSAP Youth Programs. These ambassadors will help promote Whoscall through video interviews, citation of use cases where they see benefits of Whoscall in their digital lifestyle.

The partnership was formalized in BGC, Taguig City, alongside other agreements inked with TrueMoney Philippines and Asia Pacific College (APC) during the launch of #DapatAllMagWhoscall.
