LG Philippines brings hospitality tech showcase to Subic hotel leaders
LG Electronics Philippines strengthened its push into the hospitality market through a two-day industry event in Subic, where it showcased display technologies designed for hotels, meeting spaces, and guest-facing environments.
Held from April 23 to 24 at Lighthouse Hotel Subic in Moonbay Marina Complex, Waterfront Road, Subic Bay Freeport Zone, the event was organized in collaboration with WSI, the Subic Freeport Chamber of Commerce, and the Subic Hotel Association.
The gathering brought together 110 guests, including chief information officers, chief financial officers, top executives, and key decision makers from hotels in Subic.
LG used the event to present its latest hospitality technology solutions, including Hospitality TVs for hotel rooms, LED walls for indoor and outdoor requirements, and Interactive Digital Boards for small functions.
As hotels continue to modernize their services, display technology is becoming part of a wider push to improve guest experience, support business functions, and create more flexible spaces for events and meetings.
“The hospitality industry continues to evolve rapidly, and technology plays an important role in helping hotels create better guest experiences and more efficient spaces. Through this event, LG Electronics Philippines was able to connect directly with hotel leaders in Subic and showcase display solutions designed to support the changing needs of the hospitality sector,” said Edgardo Kasunuran Jr., Media Solutions ID & IT – Head of Sales, LG Electronics Philippines.
The event gave attendees a closer look at LG’s hospitality display portfolio. Its Hospitality TVs are designed for hotel room use, while its LED wall solutions may be used for indoor and outdoor requirements, including shared areas, event spaces, and larger visual installations.
LG also featured Interactive Digital Boards, including the TR3DQ model, for small functions and collaborative settings. These displays are designed to support meetings, presentations, and interactive discussions, making them relevant for hotels that host business gatherings, private events, and group functions.
The showcase also allowed LG to discuss the use cases and potential applications of its technologies directly with hotel decision makers, helping build product awareness among Subic’s hospitality stakeholders.

Jamie Austria, Product Category Head for LG Philippines, Wordtext Systems Inc., said the event helped bring LG’s hospitality solutions closer to local hotel leaders.
“We are pleased to collaborate with LG Electronics Philippines, the Subic Freeport Chamber of Commerce, and the Subic Hotel Association in bringing these hospitality technology solutions closer to hotel leaders in Subic. Through this event, we were able to give decision makers a firsthand look at how LG’s Hospitality TVs, LED walls, and Interactive Digital Boards can support more engaging guest experiences, more flexible event spaces, and more efficient hotel operations,” Austria said.
Donna May Tamayo, Executive Director of the Subic Freeport Chamber of Commerce, said the event provided Subic’s hospitality sector with access to technologies that may help improve hotel services and business operations.
“This event provided a valuable platform for Subic’s hospitality community to explore technology solutions that can help elevate hotel services, business functions, and guest experiences. We welcome collaborations like this that connect our local industry with innovations that support growth, competitiveness, and better service for visitors and guests in Subic,” Tamayo said.
For hotels, display technologies now go beyond in-room entertainment. They are also being used for communication, branding, guest engagement, events, meetings, and business presentations.
Through the Subic event, LG Electronics Philippines said it continues to expand awareness of its hospitality technology solutions while strengthening its engagement with local business communities and hotel operators in Luzon.
