PlayStation has announced that Filipino gamers can soon look forward to NBA 2K26, launching alongside a special PlayStation 5 bundle designed for basketball fans in the country.
According to OβDell Harmon Jr., Content Communications Specialist at Sony Interactive Entertainment, the NBA 2K26 Bundle will debut in Singapore, Malaysia, and Thailand starting September 12, followed by Indonesia, the Philippines, and Vietnam on September 18 at select retailers.
βIn the Philippines, the pre-order for this bundle will start on September 5 at select local retailers,β Harmon said.
βThe official start of the season may be two months away, but basketball is back with NBA 2K26 hitting PS5 and PS4 September 5. The latest entry brings a new gameplay system powered by machine learning, studying todayβs superstars, and fun pick-up and play options. 2K invited me to go hands-on with the game before it launches September 5 on PS5, and Iβm here to share what I learned on the court,β he added.
The latest installment in the iconic sports franchise will officially release worldwide on September 5, 2025, introducing next-generation features and refined gameplay.
PlayStation says NBA 2K26 leverages machine learning to power more realistic player movements and reactions. Dribbling, defense, collisions, and shooting have all been reworked with lifelike animations that capture the intensity of authentic NBA action.
The NBA 2K26 PlayStation 5 Bundle will include a PS5 console, a DualSense wireless controller, and a disc copy of NBA 2K26 Standard Edition.
The suggested retail price (SRP) for the bundle is P30,790.
This launch underscores PlayStationβs commitment to one of its most passionate basketball markets, as Filipino fans prepare to experience the most advanced version of NBA 2K yet.
