EastWest Bank to waive InstaPay, PESONet fees starting July 15

EastWest Bank will offer free InstaPay and PESONet transfers starting July 15, joining the growing list of banks removing fees for digital fund transfers.

In a Facebook post, EastWest said customers can make their savings “go further” with zero fees for InstaPay and PESONet transactions.

“Whether you’re managing your finances across different institutions, sending money to loved ones, or making payments, EastWest makes transfers easier and more affordable with zero fees, starting July 15,” the bank said.

The move comes as more banks and financial institutions in the Philippines are lowering or waiving transfer fees amid growing demand for cheaper digital banking services.

EastWest advised customers to visit its website for the terms and conditions of the free InstaPay and PESONet transfers.
