Mercedes leads drivers’ and constructors’ standings ahead of Miami Grand Prix

With the Miami Grand Prix approaching, the 2026 Formula 1 season is beginning to show early leaders, with Mercedes-AMG Petronas Formula One Team taking control of both the drivers’ and constructors’ standings.
Mercedes drivers Kimi Antonelli and George Russell currently sit first and second in the drivers’ championship with 72 and 63 points, respectively. Their combined results have propelled the team to a strong lead in the constructors’ table with 135 points.

Scuderia Ferrari remains within reach at 90 points, supported by Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton, who occupy third and fourth in the individual standings.

McLaren holds third place among teams with 46 points, followed by a tightly packed midfield led by Haas F1 Team (18), Alpine (16), and Red Bull Racing (16).
The slower start for Red Bull is also reflected in the drivers’ standings, where Max Verstappen currently sits ninth with 12 points.
Further down the order, Racing Bulls has 14 points, while Audi and Williams have scored two points each. Cadillac is yet to register points this season.
